อากาศกำลังจะเปลี่ยนอีกแล้ว เดี๋ยวร้อนเดี๋ยวหนาวเดี๋ยวมาฝนอีก สภาพอากาศนี่เดาใจยากจริงๆ ถ้าให้คาดเดาอากาศเอาเองก็คงไม่แม่นยำเนอะ เราเลยต้องมีการพยากรณ์อากาศ หรือที่เรียกว่า forecast เราถึงจะรู้ได้ว่าจริงๆแล้ว อากาศจะเปลี่ยนไปในทิศทางไหน
เช่นเดียวกันกับสำนวน หรือที่เรียกว่า idioms ในภาษาอังกฤษเลย ที่ไม่สามารถแปลตรงตัวได้ ต้องอาศัยประสบการณ์ภาษาอังกฤษที่สะสมมา ถึงจะรู้ว่าแต่ละสำนวนแท้จริงแล้วมันแปลว่าอะไร
เกริ่นมาแบบนี้ งั้นเราไปดูสำนวนที่เกี่ยวกับฝนฟ้าอากาศกันดีกว่า
1. Raining cats and dogs.
ฝนตกหนักมากๆ
